Iris is an ideal pattern for those just starting to sew. After a first project like the Bleuet tank top, for example, it’s a slightly higher level to help improve your skills. It includes sleeves and several seams, including a curved back seam that requires a bit of technique.

Fabrics and trimmings

In my opinion, lightweight fabrics are best. Batiste, cotton, or linen fabrics give a fresh look, while modal or viscose will add fluidity and elegance.

If you do as in the exemple you will need:

• Main fabric width of 140cm : 70cm for XXS, 75cm for XS, 85cm for S, 110cm for M et L, 120cm beyond.
• Second fabric width of 140cm : 50cm from XXS to L, 60cm from XL to XXXL.
• 25cm of interfacing
